Searching for active organizers!

I would like to find some people to help organizing. Please let me know if you want be an assistant organizer. We need to get some ideas from the members to see what types of events people are interested in attending. I think anything science related will do. I tried a journal club and that didn't seem to fly. Any other ideas/ ways to make the group more fun and active?
