Biotech Journalist Bootcamp

Join your colleagues as we cover the basics of biotechnology?complete with a hands-on demonstration of DNA extraction, discuss the role of enzymes in research, provide an overview of how far we?ve come in the field and touch upon new discoveries in the works. You?ll have the chance to tour some of the laboratories on the campus as well.

Biotech Bootcamp for Journalists will help to demystify this exciting area of study and give you a strong foundation of knowledge in this evolving science. In this small-group, interactive setting, you will be free to ask questions directly to the scientists. There is no charge to attend, but seating is limited.
