In May 2009, the FDA issued a Draft Guidance to Industry titled "Presenting Risk Information in Prescription Drug and Medical Device Promotion". This presentation will highlight the salient points from the Draft Guidance and review some recent FDA enforcement actions against industry for violative promotional materials that, in FDA's view, do not adequately present risk information.
